Everyone’s day can be a little stressful and sometimes good food is just the perfect remedy. Although, on occasion, good food preparation can add to the stress. My goal here in this ‘food-for-thought’ section is to give you simple recipes that assist with elevating the taste buds and remove the stress.
So without further ado, here is a perfect concoction. It is nothing serious all you need is olive oil, balsamic vinegar and I chose garlic powder. I poured all three into a dish to have a wonderful addition to our cheese night. I think fresh bread is a must but there are always alternatives from naan, pitas, crackers, tortillas, etc. The other great part is if you don’t like garlic powder or want some other taste, all you have to do is change the spice. Try onion powder, hot pepper powder or even a blend.
Other notes for improvement, look for balsamic cream instead of vinegar. It is a little thicker and even more flavor. Try other oils. I typically use Olive Oil since it is an Italian recipe. However, in this day and age there are lots of other oils to choose from like sunflower and avocado.
