Tiffen Mennonite(red)
This heirloom from Mennonites in Wisconsin was first introduced to the Seed Savers Exchange by Thane H. Earle of Whitewater, WI. Tiffen has many similarities to the more famous Brandywine—potato-leaf foliage, pink skin, and rich old-fashioned tomato taste. The large rough oblate beefsteak fruits are a tad bigger and later than Brandywine. For a superb sandwich tomato or a fresh garden snack Tiffen is hard to top. Average 13 oz tomatoes – Indeterminate
