Dizzie Lizzie’s Organic Korean Chili Powder has a bright flavor, with a hint of sweet and a mild to moderate spicy taste. This flavor profile allows you to use generous amounts without making dishes too spacey. Where it lacks in heat, it sure compensates with amazing flavor. The spice is traditionally used in Korea to make bright red kimchi. Imparts a bright, citrusy flavor to recipes.
We see our customers using this traditionally for gochujang (Korean chili paste), kimchi, spicy Korean soups and stews (e.g. sundubu jjigae) and spicy Korean side dishes (e.g. Korean cucumber salad).
