Frequently Asked Questions

Is the farm Organic?

We grow most everything on the farm organically. However, unfortunately not everything is organic. Certain bulbs, corms and transplants that we use have been treated which makes these items not qualified for organic certification. In addition, some of our value added products contain items that are not certified organic.

What is your favorite part of farming?

My favorite moments are when I am completely alone (maybe with the dog) and a deer pops out in one of the far fields and looks over at me or a turkey happens by and we are totally at peace. Of course, I know it is not lasting as eventually the Turkey eat my blueberries and the deer eat some of my other crops.

Do you allow for farm tours?

Yes. Just reach out and contact the farm. We have 102 acres to explore. In the next few years, we have plans to install a brand new peony garden with a gazebo. In addition, there are plans for a Japanese Tea Garden and a Pollinator garden.

Do you have u-pick flowers and organic blueberries?

Yes. We offer both seasonally. Check out our website or facebook page for availability

What is your Return Policy?

It is our goal for customers to be completely satisfied with their purchases.

For our farm store customers of value added purchases, we are happy to accept a return for refund within 15 days, with the original receipt, provided the packaging remains intact and sealed, without signs of tampering. We do not offer refunds for any goods without a receipt.

We ask our online customers to please contact us at dizzylizziesfarm@gmail.com and we will be happy to assist you with the return process.

For both our farm store customers and online customers of flowers, vegetables, and plant orders, there are no refunds. However, when purchased online all orders are final unless ‘NO SUBSITITUTIONS’ has been selected and we are unable to provide you with your original item.

What is the fine print for the Flower CSA?

Flower CSA shares are final once purchased. You may sell or gift the remainder of your share to another person if you are not able to continue picking up your share. The start of each share is dependent on weather and seasonal availability. We will communicate updates and information via email. It is the customers responsibility to contact the farm via email if you do not receive updates within a week or two of your scheduled start date. Pick ups are at the farm in Erieville, NY. We will keep all shares in the cooler for one day after scheduled pickup date before they will be disposed. If you are not able to pick up your share for any given week, please gift it to a friend and let us know the name of the person who will be picking it up in your stead.
